OCTOBER 2022 - Our Path Forward Together
If you can't fly, then run. If you can't run, then walk. If you can't walk, then crawl. Whatever you do, you have to keep moving forward.
- Martin Luther King Jr.
By now, it's apparent this month's newsletter is not the usual layout. We want to focus our efforts 100% on our recovery and our path forward from Hurricane Ian.
The destruction we’ve witnessed over the past few weeks is absolutely heartbreaking. While this storm has changed the landscape of Southwest Florida forever, we’re grateful our team is safe and we certainly hope the same for all of you as well. We have faith our Southwest Florida community and Stahlman-England team will help to quickly rebuild the community we’ve grown to love so much. In fact, we have already begun our efforts to give back to our community and our clients.
For our community, we have made donations to Harry Chapin Food Bank of Southwest Florida, Salvation Army, Community Pregnancy Centers, St. Matthew's House, and St. Vincent De Paul. Additionally, our team is happy to have delivered over 100 hot meals to those most in need.
In addition to our various donations and hot meals, we want to give more. For our clients, through the end of October, we're waiving all service call fees, providing complimentary proposals for any of your irrigation, drainage, landscape lighting, or pump needs, and will provide a 10% discount for all signed proposals.
The weeks, months, and potentially years of recovery ahead for some of the hardest hit areas, will certainly be a challenge. Yet, as Martin Luther King Jr.'s quote communicates, we must keep moving forward to rise again and keep those lives lost in our prayers. We are grateful for you, we are here for you, and we look forward to celebrating with you our successful journey of what will be a newfound growth for Southwest Florida.
Sending our best to you, your families, and your friends,
The Stahlman-England Team
