Mr. Stahlman, a native of Florida, is the Vice Chairman and Founder of Stahlman Irrigation Inc. Coming from a family business of landscaping and irrigation, Mr. Stahlman started in the irrigation industry in 1984 and was the Stahlman-England Chief Operating Officer for more than two decades through 2007.
Certified in irrigation design and installation, Mr. Stahlman built a strong reputation for quality and service with high-end landscape contractors working exclusively in Lee and Collier Counties. In 1990, a growing customer base and increased sales forced the company to diversify its services and continue to expand its geographical reach into Charlotte, Sarasota & Manatee Counties. In 1999, Mr. Stahlman and Mr. England formed a partnership to form the new corporation: Stahlman-England Irrigation, Inc. The partners further expanded the firm’s capacity and now participate in residential & commercial projects, servicing both the public and private sector of Southwest Florida.
Mr. Stahlman is a director of Stahlman-England Irrigation Inc. and HEMS, LLC (investment partnership). He devotes much of this time to industry-related groups to include: the National Irrigation Association, Florida Irrigation Association, South Florida Water Management Association, Florida Water Conservatory, Rotary Club of Naples, Diocese of Venice Planning & Development, the Building Advisory Committee of Lee County & the Toro School of Business. Following devotion to his faith, Mr. Stahlman is also involved in the following charities: St. Matthew’s House, St. Vincent de Paul, Habitat for Humanity, Guadalupe Center, Sunlight Home, Diocese of Venice Faith Appeal, St. Elizabeth School, Seacrest School Relay for Life, YMCA and CPCI.
Mr. England is the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Stahlman-England Irrigation, Inc. From 1993-1997, Mr. England was the Chairman, President & Executive Officer of Sweet Ripe Drinks, Ltd. (a fruit beverage manufacturing company). Prior to 1993, Mr. England held various executive positions with John Labatt Limited (brewing company), Catelli Inc. (food manufacturing company) and Johanna Dairies Inc. (dairy company). In 1993 Mr. England retired as Senior Vice President of Finance and Corporate Development and Chief Financial Officer of John Labatt Limited. Mr. England is a director of Stahlman-England irrigation Inc., HEMS, LLC (investment partnership) and Goodwood Fund 2.0 Ltd. (registered regulated mutual fund).
Mr. England joined the Board of Enbridge, Inc. in 2007 and is a member of the Audit, Finance & Risk Committee and the Governance Committee.
As the Vice President of Stahlman-England Inc., Steve Hall’s primary responsibility is business development. Steve co-manages the design and estimating for all products offered by the company.
He also assists the production teams in the field through orientation of the projects prior to and during the installation process.
Steve Hall has acquired extensive experience with designing and installation, maintaining and troubleshooting of irrigation systems. Installations range from basic renovation to large scale commercial and residential projects, including sport fields. Steve has the credentials as required by the Irrigation Association, (IA) to perform audits and is recognized by the EPA as a Water Sense Partner for his efforts to conserve water through proper base scheduling and proper installation of high efficient irrigation equipment. Steve is currently completing his final step to achieve the certification by the IA for Design, CID.
Steve Hall has a background in turf management maintaining the Kansas City Royals Spring Training Facility. This included caring for sports turf bermuda and the maintenance of landscaping and irrigation.
Smart Controllers have become more important to the management of our most precious resource. Steve has vast experience with these systems and is capable of managing any site with the use of this equipment. Certifications include but not limited to Hunter, Rain Bird, Toro and Tucor.
Steve Hall is recognized as a leader in technique and design for the low-voltage landscape lighting design and installation. Steve has designed and installed entry ways to residential homes as well as commercial buildings and large development properties. To date he has installed over 240 projects.
Chris manages all of Sarasota, Pinellas, Hillsborough and Orange County Jobs. Chris has extensive experience in commercial irrigation installation; water management and ET Controllers. Chris will handle all of the overall operations of the branch. This includes ensuring that the branch meets its operational needs, services, and growth goals. Chris also brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table, and we are very excited to have him as part of our team.
Oscar is the Manager of the Irrigation Department for Florida’s West Coast. Joining Stahlman-England, Inc. in 2001, Oscar currently manages eight installation crews and oversees all daily operations for both commercial and residential irrigation installations. Specifically, Oscar manages all irrigation, lighting and drainage installations. Over the years, Oscar’s expertise in quality control has allowed Stahlman-England’s installation of irrigation systems to be known as one of the highest rated in the nation.
Francisco has been promoted to the Assistant Manager of the Irrigation Department for Florida’s West Coast. Joining Stahlman-England, Inc. in 1998, Francisco currently assists in managing eight installation crews and oversees all daily operations for both commercial and residential irrigation installations. Specifically, Francisco manages lighting and drainage installations. Over the years, Francisco’s expertise in quality control has allowed Stahlman-England’s installation of drainage and landscape lighting systems to be known as one of the highest rated in the nation.
As the General Manager of the East Coast, Ryan is responsible for irrigation and landscape lighting operations directed at landscape contractors, construction companies, municipalities, HOA’s, POA’s, golf courses and sports turf. With degrees in Turfgrass and Horticulture Management as well as Business Administration and Management, Ryan has extensive knowledge and experience in Golf Course Maintenance as a Golf Course Superintendent and the Landscape Industry as a Project Manager. Ryan has also served as an Adjunct Professor of Irrigation Systems at Indian River State College where he sits on the Advisory Board. Ryan is certified in Best Management Practices and a Certified Pesticide Applicator. He is a member of the GCSAA, FGCSA, TCGCSA, and FTGA.”
Luis is the Manager of the Irrigation Department for Florida’s East Coast. Joining Stahlman-England in 2014, Luis currently manages three installation crews and oversees all daily operations for both commercial and residential irrigation installations. Specifically, Luis manages all irrigation, lighting and drainage installations. Similarly to Oscar, Luis’ expertise in quality control has allowed Stahlman-England’s installation of irrigation systems to be known as one of the highest rated in the nation.
Chris is the Manager of the Golf Department. Joining Stahlman-England, Inc. in 2006, Chris has since managed and completed eighteen golf courses. Six of these projects were HDPE installations, including a large HDPE botanical garden project. Chris has extensive knowledge and experience with decoder systems as well as Rain Bird ICS at both the personal and company level. In fact, two years prior to a new product release, Chris was contracted by Rain Bird Corporation to install and evaluate the new products at three of their test sites. Additionally, Chris installed the first customer based IC system in the United States.
